ABSTRACT Teak (Tectona grandis) is a forest species cultivated in tropical regions worldwide, due to the traits of its wood and great economic value on market. In Brazil, original plantations are being replaced by selected clonal forests, which generate need interest protect this genetic material based current legislation. The legal requirements for cultivar protection that genotype must result from improvement provide distinguishability, homogeneity, stability (DHS). This work identifies morphological descriptors teak cuttings assist clone process species. study was conducted completely randomized design with evaluation 7 clones 15 per clone, at 30, 60, 90, 120 days old. information also organized arrays presence absence variations each 21 traits.
